On Page 98 I wrote:

“To find out where a particular notary is situated go to http://www.dgrn.mj.pt/db_not/endnot1.asp and search in alphabetical order. For example, to find the Silves office you’d click on De Resende a Torres Vedres (From Resende to Torres Vedres).

There is a special section at the bottom for private notaries (cartórios notariais privados) so if you can’t find a particular notary in the main list then try there.”

This has changed to www.irn.mj.pt/IRN/sections/contactos.

Click on Contactos dos Cartórios Notariais and then download Attached File: Cartórios Notariais Públicos and Attached File: Cartórios Notariais Privados.
